JOH is proud to announce the promotions of Carol Young to EDI Coordinator in Customer Service and Deana Pardun, Bettina Monestime, and Bonnie Sousa to Senior Deduction Analysts in the Deductions Department.
Carol Young has been a valued member of the JOH family for 26 years. She began her career at JOH in Deductions before moving to Customer Service in the Produce Division in 2001, where she has spent the past 25 years. With a career rooted in customer service and helping others, Carol brings extensive experience and knowledge to her new role.
As EDI Coordinator, Carol will oversee the EDI process, including onboarding new clients and managing and updating the MCS database, items, and pricing. The role gives her an opportunity to learn something new and take on a fresh challenge. She can be reached at [email protected].
Deana Pardun brings more than two decades of experience in deduction management, sales support, trade fund management, forecasting, and financial processes to her new role as Senior Deduction Analyst.
In her expanded role, Deana will help onboard new clients, ensure a smooth transition, and serve as a resource to others on the Deductions team. She looks forward to learning the details of new client accounts and continuing to grow with JOH. She can be reached at [email protected].
Since joining JOH in 2023, Bettina Monestime has continued to grow within the Deductions team. As a Deduction Analyst, she has managed client accounts, resolved complex deductions, supported revenue recovery, and worked across teams to resolve issues. She has also helped train and support new hires and interns.
As Senior Deduction Analyst, Bettina will take on greater responsibility for complex accounts while continuing to collaborate with client managers, customers, clients, and teammates. She will also continue mentoring others and supporting department projects. She can be reached at [email protected].
Bonnie Sousa’s promotion to Senior Deduction Analyst marks a return to a role she knows well. She has more than eight years of JOH experience across two tenures, first joining the Deductions Department in 2016 and becoming a Senior Deduction Analyst in 2022. After gaining additional accounts receivable and trade management experience, she returned to JOH in 2025.
In her new role, Bonnie will support the Deductions Supervisor and team through training, issue resolution, and client deduction management. She also looks forward to becoming more involved in department meetings, plans, and projects. She can be reached at [email protected].
