JOH is pleased to welcome Jason VanderMeer as a Business Manager in the North Central region.
Jason joins JOH with more than 20 years of retail industry experience spanning both store operations and category management. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of leadership roles focused on merchandising, inventory management, category strategy, and business analytics. Most recently, he was responsible for leading category growth and strategic planning across several high-profile product categories, working closely with manufacturers to drive sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
“Jason brings a wealth of retail knowledge, category expertise, and customer insight to JOH,” said Frank Tuma. “His experience and perspective will be a tremendous asset to our clients, customers, and team. We’re excited to welcome him to the JOH family.”
Jason resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife, Aime, their two children, Brinley and Dawson, and their mini Goldendoodle, Roary. When he’s not working, he enjoys grilling, camping, and traveling. You’ll often find him cheering on his kids at their basketball, lacrosse, and cheer events, or rooting for his favorite Detroit sports teams.
