JOH is thrilled to welcome Erik Brown as Vice President of Business Development, Produce.
Erik brings nearly four decades of experience in the retail food industry, including 33 years dedicated to produce. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles with a leading national grocer and within the global produce industry, overseeing teams across the U.S. and abroad. Starting as a Produce Merchandiser, Erik rose through positions such as Director of Produce, Regional Produce Coordinator and Senior Global Produce Buyer, where he led operations across many areas of business. Most recently, as Executive Leader of Produce Procurement, he managed the company’s procurement team, supporting regional and international Produce and Floral divisions. Under his leadership, the business has more than doubled since 2017.

Erik lives in the Boston area with his wife and three children. Much of his free time is spent cheering on his kids at their sporting events or working together on the family’s farm. He also loves cooking, spending time outdoors and the occasional round of golf.
